British Media Studies

I participated in a three-week study abroad course, travelling across the U.K. This was my first time overseas. We spent time in London, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, and Windsor. During the course, we visited the sites of PR, advertising, and news firms to connect with media industry leaders. We visited the KOKO concert venue, the BBC World Service, ABC London, NBC Universal, the Guardian, CNN London, Edelman PR, VML Advertising, Anomaly Advertising, Bottle Yard Studios, and Silverback Studios. After each site visit, we presented speakers with a gift and a brief speech thanking them for their time. During the trip, I strengthened my networking skills and received insights into what an increasingly interconnected global media landscape looks like.
